Stereotype Series

My goal was to depict different types of stereotypes in an over the top sort of way, to poke fun  at the fact that we place our selves in certain groups because of the way we dress or wear our hair. I learned a great deal about digital painting in the process and a few new techniques.

I had never really dove into fan art. I did not know until now how awesome it is to do work which you are completely inspired by. I think out of anything I have done, (artwise) this has been the most satisfying and best learning experience since college. I tackled a technique which I have never tried, I found a passion in creating characters that I love and re-imagining them. I will probably continue pulling from characters which inspire me in the future.
